The campaign finance reports from July 28 have finally been posted on the Election Supervisor’s website.
It shows that micromanager and Superintendent Jim Paul antagonist, Cary Stidham, has a campaign that appears to have stalled in her bid for a third term. Stidham had joined John DeWitt and Linda Finkelstien, who both lost in the 2004 race, in obstructing Paul’s initiatives and trying to run the district themselves.
Stidham raised only $550 during the past month ($500 from herself and $50 from Escambia County Commissioner Bill Dickson) and has been doubled by her challenger in total fundraising for the School Board District 2 race. Gerald Boone, a long time teacher, has $4,574 total compared to $2,175 for Stidham. Boone raised $2,525 in the past month from many individual sources.
Looks like Stidham will be joining DeWitt and Finkelstien on the sidelines.
