SOC lashes out

July 27, 2006

angryThis morning I received a series of comments to the Community Maritime Park posts that accuse the Committee for the Community Maritime Park of violating campaign finance reporting laws by failing to report a $40, 096.97 to the John Appleyard Agency in December 2005. Also that a check by Quint Studer to the committee made in January 2006 cover the payment made in December [I guess they’re saying the bank covered an overdraft of $40K]

Also they say Bob Hart’s firm did some in-kind legal work that wasn’t reported properly.

I’ve asked Committee for the Community Maritime Park to respond.

If they need to correct their reports, then do so. If fines are involved, pay them. We know that SOC violated their filing statement and  only amended it two weeks ago. We know SOC also filed incomplete financial reports by not listing occupations for all their contributions.

WHO REALLY CARES? THE ISSUE IS THE WATERFRONT PARK.

Quit trying to deflect attention elsewhere.
