I understand that at a recent board workshop, while a discussion was being held about allowing kids to charge their lunches, Stidham made the statement that she didn't care if she came acoss as mean, but that the schools should not allow kids to charge their lunches.

I don't know about you, but this is not the type of perosn I want running my kids' schools. Most of the time it is not the kids's fault if they can't pay, it's the parents.

I know from the time I've spent at my kids' schools eating lunch with them, the food these low income kids get at school may be the most substantial meals that get all week.

We have got to get Jerry Boone elected in a few weeks.

IT'S INTERESTING THAT THE TEACHER UNION IS SUPPORTING STIDHAM. THEY, LIKE STIDHAM, SEEM TO BE INTENT ON FIGHTING THE SUPERINTENDENT ON EVERY ISSUE HE BRINGS UP.

THE JUST HAD THEIR REARENDS HANDED TO THEM ON THE TEACHER RAISE ISSUE, EVEN THOUGH THEY KNEW THE MAJORITY OF TEACHERS WANTED TO APPROVE THE RAISE AT THE BEGIINING OF THE NEW SCHOOL YEAR, WHICH HAS NOT HAPPENED IN AGES.

IT IS DUE STUPID MOVES SUCH AS THIS THAT THEIR MEMBERSHIP KEEPS DECLINING.

THEY AND CARY GO GOOD TOGETHER IN THAT THEY ARE NOTHING MORE THAN A HINDERANCE TO MR. PAUL AND HIS STAFF.

THEY ACTUALLY CAME OUT AGAINST THE LATEST CLOSING AND CONSOLIDATION PLAN, EVEN THOUGH IT WOULD HAVE PROVIDED MILLIONS OF DOLLARS FOR EVEN GREATER RAISES IN THE FUTURE.

MAYBE AFTER CARY LOSES THIS ELECTION, SHE CAN GO WORK IN THE UNION OFFICE AS A RECRUITER.

Oberved the school board meeting last night. It's amazing how quiet and docile Cary Stidham has been these last few months. She has definietely gone into stealth mode as the election is looming on September 5.

If one didn't know better, you might think she is a big fan of the Superintendent and is only concerned about educating our kids.

However, I do not think her ruse will work. Too many folks remember her as part of the Dewitt, Finkelstein, Stidham Trio that completely disrupted the school district by constantly fight with Superintendent Paul and his staff.

She tried this same thing before the 2002 election, but as soon as the abllots were cast, the gloves came back off and she began her contentious arguments once again.

Hopefully Jerry Boone will be our new board member after September 5.

If we elect Cary Stidham again, we have gotten what we deserve. People talk a good game about making our schools better. But, when it comes to doing something about it they seem to have no time. The district has come far with Mr Paul's leadership. Just think how far we could have come without her petti obsructionism. Please help Mr. Boone. he is a good, kind man that I have been privledged to know for years as a teacher of my son and daughter. He is smart, of good character and will work hard for our community and children.

I for one, am glad to see we have some with the dedication and experience running against Stidam.

Jerry Boone recently retired after 35 years of teaching at Escambia High School. He has dedicated his life to kids and will continue to do so as a member of the school board.

It's time we got rid of Cary and her contentious, self-centered politics. Her pettiness has stood in the way of improving the educational experience of our kids for far too many years.

Stidham's toast. People are tired of her self-centered, petty and immature behavior. She has publicly stated that she will vote against anything the Superintendent recommends. She has to go, just like Dewitt and Finkelstein.

She is going to have a hard time beating Jerry Boone, a true education professional with 35 years of dedicated service to our kids.

So long Cary, maybe it's time you move back to Texas.

How about this for a nightmare scenario: Cary Stidham gets re-elected, Todd squeeks by Jeff and a Ronnie Clark clone defeats Glover in district three? Kool Aid anyone?
